Cherry Hill, New Jersey, educational staffing company Source4Teachers named substitute teacher Stacy-Ann Johnson the recipient of its third annual Impact Award in November 2016. Source4Teachers established the Impact Award in 2014.

The Impact Award honors substitute teachers and school aides for going above and beyond the expectations of their roles. Awards are distributed based on the total number of days worked over the course of a one-year period and feedback from the school districts the support staff members serve. Award recipients are given a cash award of $500 and an additional $500 to donate to the school of their choice, plus a plaque.

Johnson was announced the recipient of the 2016 Impact Award on Substitute Educators Day, which exists as part of the National Education Association’s 95th Annual American Education Week. A substitute for Bridgeport Public Schools, she has worked in 22 of the district’s 38 schools. Most recently, she substituted as an English as a Second Language teacher at Black Rock School.
