Established in 2000, Source4Teachers employs educators and allocates them to school districts where they work as substitute personnel. Headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Source4Teachers remains dedicated to helping children in and out of the classroom, and among the endeavors it has assisted is One Warm Coat. The firm’s employees set up collection boxes in each of its corporate offices and donated more than 1,150 coats to local agencies in 2013.

Based in San Francisco, California, One Warm Coat strives to provide anyone in need with a warm coat with one, free of charge. Begun in 1992, the nonprofit organization has grown over the years to include national locations hosting more than 3,000 annual drives and helping more than 30,000 children.

One way that One Warm Coat reaches out to businesses to get them involved is through its Coast to Coast Challenge. Having kicked off in the fall of 2015, this challenge seeks out companies across the country to host drives at any of their locations. Employees then compete at each location to see which can collect the most coats and funds. Locations receive points based on the number of coats and dollars collected, divided by each location’s number of employees. The challenge lasts as long as the company desires to participate.

With its headquarters in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Source4Teachers seeks to improve the overall classroom experience for students by finding highly skilled substitutes to fill positions in school districts. Many members of the substitute staffing service firm sit as associate business members at the state and county level along the East Coast for the Association for School Business Officials International (ASBO).

Established in 1910, ASBO International supports school business professionals who strive toward quality education within the schools. It offers programs and services to promote these high standards through a global supportive network.

The organization has affiliates scattered across the country that host their own events and conferences, with the New Jersey chapter hosting its 2016 conference on June 8 through 10 at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. The three-day event includes clinics and a women’s leadership breakfast. Throughout the 54th annual conference, attendees will have opportunities to meet with New Jersey ASBO International leaders. The first two nights will end with a networking reception, and the final day is slated to culminate with a brunch featuring the event’s keynote speaker.
